This typical Austrian gingerbread is the expression of a long tradition at the so-called Mühlviertel region: it represents the typical taste of the land of Kastner´s origin. The spices we use have been selected over generations. The bottom of each piece is chocolate covered: like this, a perfect gingerbread has to be composed.
WHEAT FLOUR, dark chocolate (cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, emulsifier: lecithins (SOYA); vanilla extract), sugar, honey, glucose-fructose syrup, candied orange peel (orange peel, glucose-fructose syrup, sugar, acidifier: citric acid), HAZELNUTS, WHOLE EGG POWDER, spices (0.35 % cinnamon, 0.04 % anise, cloves, coriander, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, star anise, fennel), caramel sugar syrup, orange oil, apple extract, potato starch, maltodextrin, raising agents: ammonium bicarbonate, potassium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate; acidifier: lactic acid; humectant: sorbitol. May contain traces of milk, sesame and other nuts.
